Akron/Family tour and new album


Shortly after releasing last years Meek Warrior, Akron Family entered the studio once again to record the follow up to their recently released album. If you missed their new demos the first time around, I’ve reposted them below.  Another update today was provided by the band and reads as follows:

hi all!

spring has sprung! the ivy outside is growing INTO my bedroom, and birds (and bee’s) are manic and plentiful, we are about to play a few shows and also (finally) about to turn in our new record which will be out in september. come see us, say hi, hug us, and be sure to show up early as we are playing with the mighty ‘Lexie Mountain Boys’ who in addition to being totally brilliant and amazing are also completely f’ing insane, always a winning combination if you ask me.
