Gnidnereven, a German singer-songwriter hailing from the desolate northern tundras of the country, has lived in isolation for over ten years. With nothing more than a reel-to-reel recording device, some homegrown crops for sustenance, and a vintage Strat given to him by his father (a member of German 80’s metal band Faithful Breath), Gnidnereven recorded some of the most original songs we’ve ever heard here at naturalismo. Only about a month ago did he emerge from his self-imposed exile after running out of food and water. He gave his home-made demo to a grocery clerk in Hamburg in exchange for a loaf of bread. The clerk was so moved by the demo that he sent to a German folk label. One of these songs has leaked here…
UPDATE: april fools…may Gnidnereven live foreverrrrr!
