Stag Hare: Black Medicine Music

Black Medicine Music

Today I awoke to a dark and cold winter morning.  I returned to sleep, preferring my dreams to waking life.  When I exhausted all of my body’s potential for sleep, I decided to go and turn on my stereo.  It was then that Stag Hare’s Black Medicine Music transformed my wintry bedroom into a forest at the height of spring.

The sun shines warmly through the tops of trees that have just begun to flutter green.  The forest’s magic unfolds.  It is alive with sound.  In this ever-unfolding present, life begins anew, free from the conditions of the past.

All of Stag Hare’s self-released albums can be purchased here.

  7. This is great! I have been listening to this guy a lot lately, seen him live in his home state. You should definately check out the other bands he plays with. See http://www.mooondial.blogspot.com/. Silver Antlers is great, my personal favorite of all is Seven Feathers Rainwater, the guy behind moondial. Also has some solo stuff under the siltlabels moniker, check it out, now!
