Topanga Banjo & Fiddle Contest

Another post for everyone living in Los Angeles (we poor, poor souls) — don’t forget that this Sunday, May 17th, the Topanga Banjo & Fiddle Contest / Folk Festival is going down. It’s going to be a marvelous day in the Canyon: sunshine, bluegrass, lemonade, microbrews, straw hats, the works. A rare treat indeed, especially for those amongst us who yearn for a music event where the measure of success is not measured in the tightness of pants. Hope to see you all there!

  1. Amen!

  2. I actually just made my first trip down to the canyon last week and it was insanely beautiful. Stayed at the Topanga Canyon Inn and I’d highly recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in the heart of the canyon. It’s just quite the bummer when you drive down to Canoga.

  3. Oh, but also, I drove down there for the Artpeace/Megapuss show, which turned out to be cancelled, which was really quite the bummer!
