What We
Will Be
UPDATE: Looks like pitchfork got it wrong, Devendra Banhart’s new album is actually going to be called What we will be. It is still slated for release in early October. Recorded in Bolinas, CA, the album features Noah Georgeson on guitar and backing vocals, Greg Rogove on drums and backing vocals; Luckey Remington on bass and vocals and Rodrigo Amarante on guitar and backing vocals. All the musicians involved played a part in arranging the songs recorded.

October not too far away for release date.
Hopefully some uk tour dates to follow!
pitchfork should be fucked, broken, and driven across the land
Warner…hmmm…that’s pretty far removed from Young God.
i guess i’ll still buy it…
Can’t wait, interesting about Warner though. Anyone know the story behind the reasons for choosing them? King Creosote (Fence Collective) went to Warner, then left them and returned with his album “Flicking the Vs” on Domino records. Fans were pleased when he left as it didn’t seem to fit in with the whole Fence Collective ethic etc.
The time has come again… The Warner reason is simple… Money. The label really doesn’t mean anything though. I’m just curious about how he’s gonna match Smokey. Yeah The album Art is twisted.
My thought exactly…
DEVENDRA BANHART IS THE BEST ARTIST OF ALL TIME…AMAZZZZZZING. HOW DO YOU GET ANY BETTER? YOU DONT.
