Rodeney Crowell plays the song Bluebird Wine on a tour bus in the mid 70′s. I think I may have already posted this a bit back but it deserves to be posted again and again because it is a beautiful and addictive little slice of songwriting that is one of my favorite songs of all time. Crowell was Emmylou Harris’ songwriter at the time and she covered this song to much less affect. This can be found on Heartworn Highways. Kinda bittersweet watching this clip because I’m sure that Crowell would have made a pretty masterful solo album if he left to pursue his own music career.
