Gillian Hills

English raised, born in Egypt and virtually unknown outside a few small acting rolls, Gillian Hills seemed to only crop up in fleeting beautiful vignettes throughout some of the 60’s more tantalizing filmic moments. Traipsing half nude with Jane Birkin around Antonioni’s Blow Up then showing up in the infamous popsicle scene in A Clockwork Orange it only makes sense that her unfairly rarely heard music would tempt on a similar level.  And it does:

Girl even had the taste to cover the Zombies “Leave me be”  right after it came out, in French no less.
