Lewis – L’Amour

I’ve been waiting for just the right weather to post this album and with the air cooling down just a bit Lewis’ music begins to make that much more sense. L’amour uncovers that rare melodic balance of ethereal synths and soft hooked breathy vocals that finds a way to subtly weave its way into your head. The songs are strong enough that on first listen you’d think someone stole a tape from Arthur Russel’s unreleased archives. 1983, private press…nothing else is known about Lewis. Click the album cover to download the full album.
